Have I got a story for y'all.
Felicity Jean was born on Friday, March 12, at 8:36 pm, weighing 7 lbs, 7 oz and 20 inches long. She's pretty much the most perfect thing in the world, of course. We think she has Joe's eyes and nose, my mouth, chin and head and hair of indeterminate color (it might be reddish? maybe?). Her lungs definitely work.
I'll post a birth story when the world isn't spinning from ridiculous, giddy new-parent love and janky hormones and post-labor pain/gore and total lack of sleep. It's something else -- her arrival involved high doses of Pitocin and an epidural that came too late and, uh, didn't really work. But a few huffs of her little head and all is forgiven, if not forgotten.
(OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS, THE EPIDURAL DID NOT WORK).
Flickr is being a pain in my butt, so this will have to do for now.
