Oh, I love these year-end posts. *happy sigh*

I'm also so glad to have found your blog, and to "know" you. I don't even remember HOW I came to first start reading here (have you ever tried to retrace those steps? So weird.), and our lives are so different- you in a huge city, me in a speck of dust on the map, and YET I feel so kindred toward you. Ten points for the internets!

Also, our xmas video of the twin at almost 2 involved them exclaiming over and over "Santa drinked it! All gone! He getta more-a in-a fridge! He-a ate da cookies! All gone! He drinked da milk! All gone! He-a getta more, in-a fridge!" Over and over. So precious to watch now.

Cheers to 2012 treating your family well! xo

I have to say, I was so happy to read your answer to #34. I feel the same way. As for #35, I hope our state goes the way of New York. It is fantastic that you can look back on the year and express such contentment.

Anyway, it sounds like you had a great year and I hope 2012 is even better!

Life of a Doctor's Wife

I loved reading this!

#4 - YES! And here is a secret: I think my husband's grandmother died in 2010 and I forgot to put it on that year-end recap... and then I put it in the 2011 recap because I had forgotten she'd died the YEAR BEFORE. Am horrible. HORRIBLE.

#9 - "I think that I need to have less of a hair-trigger for annoyance in general." I need to work on this as well.

#19 - YES. ME TOO.

#25 - Heehee.

#38 - Such a good lesson.

Sounds like a pretty fantastic 2011! I hope the coming year brings you great joy!

Oh, I am loving reading all of these.

#25 - We must be non-music-discovering sisters, because the second someone says, "Dja know that band that--" and I just have to say, "No. I do not know that band. No. I am officially not cool, okay? Okay."

Orrr...maybe that's just me.

#38 YES. I loved this.

"I have been sleeping until Felicity gets up just because I CAN, and that's just not cutting it."

HELLO. YES. I am still using Sadie as my alarm clock. It worked when she was 9 months old and woke up at 6am, but now that she wakes up at 7:45 and I am perpetually late for work? NOT COOL.

I am so glad to have been your Internet friend this year. You're an amazing lady and deserve all the best in 2012.
